How To Win The Heart Of An Ex Girlfriend Back Advice To Get Her Back Quickly

Submitted by: Joan Rivers

These tips are aimed at doing one thing, how to win ex-girlfriend back, regardless of the situation or your current circumstances. Perhaps it was you who called the relationship off, or you’ve lost her gradually over time. Maybe one or both of you cheated on each other. Whatever! You now are having second thoughts. You may not realize it, and most people don’t, but upwards of 90% of broken relationships can be re-established, if you go about things properly. You can use Psychological and Expert Tips to get your ex boyfriend or girlfriend back in your life; what to do to get effective expert relationship advice is at the last paragraph of this article.

Take a break for awhile, that is the first step of the process. Go about living your life without the ex involved. Take time to take care of number one and look good while you’re at it (proper eating, workout and dress well, do not be slovenly), get out on the town with good friends, and if no friends around, go out yourself. I’m not saying start another relationship with someone with the intent to make your ex girlfriend jealous.

Doing this will backfire on you, she will think you really don’t give a shit about your ex girlfriend and she most likely will move on to another guy. While you shouldn’t be sitting around doing nothing, you shouldn’t be out partying with other women. Make your first goal to be a “better you”, and put how to win ex-girlfriend back as a secondary goal.

I can not stress the importance of no contact during this time. If your ex girlfriend comes looking for you, respond to her, but don’t encourage her into anything else. And you should show self restraint by not calling, texting her or emailing. Stay away as far as possible and keep focused on your goal with no distractions pulling you away from it.

Your ex girlfriend is off limits! Both physically and in your head as well. This is to your advantage, especially if before reading this article you have been bothering her constantly to come back. By “disappearing from sight” you make her much more curious about you. This curiosity will give her time to actually start missing you.

There is nothing set in stone as to when you can proceed to the next step in the process and make contact with your ex-girlfriend. A few weeks or months may pass before you make contact with your ex girlfriend in confidence. When you feel comfortable with yourself and your new life, you re ready to approach her.

Ironically, this may also be the time you actually don’t really want to get back with your ex girlfriend. By stepping away for awhile, you’ll be more aware of, and in control of your feelings (which may have changed) which enables you to see things more clearly. It’s my desire that these tips on how to win ex-girlfriend back will improve your situation, but more importantly improve your relationship.

Once you get reconciled to your ex boyfriend or girlfriend, you will be glad you made the effort Even more effective expert tips when you Visit these links (at the Authors Bio section) below.

American poker player Chip Reese dies at age 56

Wednesday, December 5, 2007

David Edward “Chip” Reese, an American professional poker player, died on December 4, 2007, at the age of 56. Reese died in his sleep at his Las Vegas, Nevada home from the effects of pneumonia.

Reese is generally considered a legend in the world of poker. In 1991, he became the youngest living player to be inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. His last major win came at the 2006 World Series of Poker, where he won US$1,784,640 in the HORSE event.

“Chip Reese was probably the most successful poker player in history,” said Mike Sexton. “Chip has always been admired by players for his success, his demeanor at the table.”

“I knew him for 35 years, I never saw him get mad or raise his voice,” Doyle Brunson said. “He had the most even disposition of anyone I’ve ever met. He’s certainly the best poker player that ever lived.”

His career spanned multiple decades and Reese made the majority of his money when poker gained publicity through national television exposure starting around the turn of the century. Though he never won the “Main Event” in Texas hold’em at the World Series of Poker, Reese was very successful.

“He was a family man like no one else in poker,” said fellow poker professional Barry Greenstein. “No matter what the situation was, if his kids had something going on — a baseball game, a recital, whatever — he would quit to go to it.”

“Probably a lot of us were jealous of him that he was able to do that — that he had done well enough in poker, that he could always take time off of poker to be involved with his kids,”Greenstein added.

Reese earned a degree from Dartmouth College and was accepted to law school at Stanford University, but he was drawn by the lure of big winnings and chose instead to earn his living at the poker table. He once told a reporter that law “doesn’t have the same monetary incentive as poker.”

Wind storms swept across a large part of Texas on Wednesday, leaving property damaged and many homes without power.

Downed lamposts and trees were reported in multiple locales. One media source reported overturned playground equipment in the city of Rockwall. Winds up to 40 miles-per-hour (mph) were reported over much of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Approximately 9,500 people within Tarrant and Dallas counties were without electrical power as late as Thursday afternoon.

Late Wednesday evening, the National Weather Service reported winds at Dallas Love Field up to 66 mph. The city of Edgewood recorded wind speeds up to 70 mph during the storm; three homes, two barns and two business buildings sustained damage. A home in Chandler was damaged when a tree was toppled during the storm (see photo at left).

Dust from as far away as west Texas covered vehicles and other property early Thursday morning in the eastern part of the state. A car wash manager in Tyler told media his business cleaned about three hundred cars on Thursday, busier than usual even for holiday season.

The Thinking Behind Uniforms

By Simona Rusnakova

Uniforms are a part of life for people in many different professions. There are many reasons why these uniforms are used for these professions. Some of them will have a long history behind them. There are also different uniforms for a single profession that you should know about.

School Uniforms

School uniforms are used by many schools for a number of reasons. One of the principles behind school uniforms is a sense of unity and that no person is better than another. These uniforms will be different from school to school as they often include school colours.

Nurses Uniforms

A nurse uniform serves two very important purposes. The first is for hygiene reasons and the other is for identification. This uniform has changes over the years from the original created in the 19th century. The first uniform was based off the nuns’ habit. The reason for this was that nuns were the people who looked after the sick. Today nurses either wear traditional uniforms or scrubs.

Salon Uniforms

Salon uniforms are a bit trickier to understand. The main principle behind them is professionalism and hygiene. Most people will feel more comfortable in a salon with someone who is in some form of uniform. Without the uniform people may feel that they are not as professional. In salons professionals also work with chemicals when dying hair so it is in their best interest to wear a uniform in case any of the chemical lands in them.

Military Uniforms

Military uniforms are the uniforms that have changed the most. Traditionally military uniforms were more elaborate with light colours and trimmings. Today the uniform is more utilitarian. The military uniform can be traced back thousands of years into antiquity. Records of military dress have been found referring to the red garment of the Spartan hoplite and the members of Hannibal’s army.

Healthcare Uniforms

Healthcare uniforms are worn by anyone who works in the healthcare industry. This will include nurses, doctors and support staff like radiologists. In America most healthcare personnel will wear scrubs. Certain hospitals will have different coloured scrubs to identify different healthcare personnel. In other countries nurses still wear traditional tunics or pants while doctors generally wear their own clothes covered by a white jacket. All doctors will wear scrubs when they are in surgery for hygiene purposes.

Chef Uniforms

The chef uniform as we know it dates back to the mid-19th century. Marie-Antoine Careme is the person credited with the creation of the modern chef’s uniform. The toque or chef’s hat was already in place but she introduced the white jacket to symbolise cleanliness. The jacket also protects the chef from the heat of the stove. The material used to manufacture the jacket will be flame resistant and the buttons will be hardy. The toque dates further back to the 16th century when hats were worn by many professions.

Uniforms are a part of live for many people. Each uniform will symbolise something different depending on the use and the profession. Professionalism is often the reason behind a uniform but it may also be for hygiene or for control.

Toothpaste fills cavities without drilling

Toothpaste fills cavities without drilling

Thursday, February 24, 2005

A paste containing synthetic tooth enamel can seal small cavities without drilling. Kazue Yamagishi and colleagues at the FAP Dental Institute in Tokyo say that the paste can repair small cavities in 15 minutes.

Currently, fillers don’t stick to such small cavities so dentists must drill bigger holes. Hydroxyapatite crystals, of which natural enamel is made, bond with teeth to repair tiny areas of damage.

Yamagishi and colleagues have tested their paste on a lower premolar tooth that showed early signs of decay. They found that the synthetic enamel merged with the natural enamel. The synthetic enamel also appears to make teeth stronger which will improve resistance to future decay. As with drilling, however, there is still the potential for pain: The paste is strongly acidic to encourage crystal growth and causes inflammation if it touches the gums.

The paste is reported in the journal Nature.

OCTranspo’s “new year” of efficiencies?

OCTranspo’s “new year” of efficiencies?

Monday, January 2, 2006

Anyone riding the OC Transpo Ottawa municipal bus service’s express bus routes this morning and this afternoon, in the Ottawa area, was probably greeted with an empty bus, and inherently, a “fast and efficient” ride. This is in part because most government workers where off from work still celebrating their Christmas holidays and buses were operating on a “holiday schedule;” a lack of planning on behalf of OC Transpo.

Though, according to OC Transpo, the “Holiday Schedule” means buses this week shall be running a little less often, in reality there isn’t that much difference than the regular schedule. To be more precise, from 05h48 until 07h20, on the express 27 route there will be 5 less buses during the “Holiday Schedule” compared to the “Regular Schedule.”

“This is probably going to be fine for the rest of this week, when government employees start coming back to work”, said Yves Roy, an OC Transpo driver, “but today was a holiday and it appears that express routes only had an average of about 2 to 4 passengers.”

“On my ride in to work, at around 6:10 a.m. this morning, nobody else got on the bus. It was like having a personal stretch limo to myself,” said Patrick Roy, a guard for the commissionaires.

Also, at around 4:15 p.m. another OC Transpo bus driver, whom wished to remain anonymous, stated, “You are the first person I picked up today.” He had been working since the morning doing express runs. He then added, “This is a waste of tax payers money.”

Ottawa’s BRT “Transitway,” has indicated that it cost approximately 42.58$ CAN per hour to run a diesel bus. It is estimated that 729 express buses ran today for approximatelly 7 hours costing approximatelly 217,287$ CAN. The cost of operating OC Transpo is split between transit fares collected and the tax base (mostly municipal, with some federal and provincial contributions.)

“We then continued to talk about waste of fuel, employee pay, insurance liability issues and even went into details about such hot political items as the Kyoto Agreement and conservatism,” said Patrick. “Once the driver reached Place d’Orleans the second passenger joined in the conversation. The driver then took a faster alternate route and dropped us off not far from our homes.”

According to Peter Dickson, editor at The Ottawa Citizen, last year OC Transpo buses followed a ‘reduced’ Sunday schedule and this created havoc on the system. Peter asked, if “perhaps this year they where trying to compensate for this inefficiency?”

Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU), OC Transpo’s union representative has indicated, “At current fleet levels, Ottawa’s roads would be choked with about 40,000 more cars each rush hour if not for OC Transpo.”[1] ATU suggests 70 per cent of trips in Ottawa are now made by car. However, seemingly, due to returning vacationers and other reasons, today may have created an increase in the use of cars and influenced this statistic. According to city councillor Clive Doucet’s web page “Currently, 17% of all trips residents make in Ottawa are on public transit, up from 15% in the mid-nineties. As a comparison, Paris’ modal split is 40% or higher taking public transit while Los Angeles’ modal split is around 2% for public transit.” Analysing ridership on a large scale seems to be an important element for the city.

According to Ottawa Mayor Bob Chiarelli, “We used to be able to plan a transit system for up to 12 years ahead, with assured funding.” This of course is in reference to provincial government funding.”It would make me happier if we took all of the (fuel taxes) and put them into the transportation infrastructure,” Mr. Hunt, president of the Canadian Automobile Association says. “But we don’t have a plan.”

“Usually OC Transpo bus drivers have two 4 months bookings, for the fall and the winter and two 2 months booking for the spring and for the summer,” said Yves Roy. “For the first time in March 2005, there was a special 1 week booking for the March break that rearranged and redistributed drivers of certain high school bus runs. During previous march breaks, drivers would show up usually waiting 30 or more minutes in an “idling” bus.”

Is there such thing as to much efficiency? Today is an example of buses and drivers being very efficient. On the other hand, it may be a lack of efficiency within OC Transpo’s booking department, upper management and the governments.

‘Rock and roll never dies’: Italy wins Eurovision after 30 years

Tuesday, May 25, 2021

On Saturday, Italy won its third victory at the Eurovision Song Competition, held this year at the Rotterdam Ahoy arena in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Italian rock band Måneskin’s song Zitti E Buoni won 524 points from public and professional judges. French singer Barbara Pravi’s song Voilà received 499 points, and Swiss singer Gjon’s Tears Tout l’univers got 432 points; finishing second and third respectively.

Out of 39 countries participating this time, 26 countries including hosts Netherlands and the Big Five — France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom — competed in the finals. The competition began on May 18. Three of the Big Five, and the hosts finished at the very bottom of the vote ranking. Netherlands got 11, Spain got six, Germany bagged three and the UK received zero points. All four received zero points from the audience.

Dutch singer Duncan Laurence won the 2019 edition of Eurovision in Tel Aviv winning 498 points for his song Arcade. That victory meant Netherlands was to host the competition 2020, which was cancelled because of “escalating spread of COVID-19 throughout Europe”. This year, 3500 people were in audience, multiple reports stated. They all were tested negative to be eligible for attending the event, Eurovision stated.

Iceland’s Daði Freyr could not perform live in both semi-finals and the final, having tested positive of the virus. A pre-recorded performance of Daði og Gagnamagnið was played, which finished fourth, receiving 378 points, 12 more than Ukrainian singer Go_A’s song Shum.

Switzerland finished at top, during the jury voting, receiving 267 points. France finished second during the national jury voting with 248 points. During the jury voting, when France and Switzerland were very close to each other, Pravi said, “I think it is crazy that two French songs are on the top, thank you!”

National juries of both Switzerland and the UK awarded 12 points to France. Pravi uttered “Merci!” ((fr))French language: ?Thank you!, clapped and blew a kiss towards the Swiss team, upon receiving 12 points from the Swiss jury.

Italy received 318 points from the audience, putting them on top. That sufficed them to win the competition. Upon winning, Måneskin’s lead vocalist Damiano David said, “We just want to say to the whole Europe, to the whole world, rock and roll never dies.”

As the winner of this year’s competition, Italy is to host next year’s Eurovision Song Competition. Italy had previously won Eurovision in 1990. Måneskin is the first band to win the competition since 2006, the BBC noted.

Make Money Fast – Get $100,000 No Credit Checks Required and Build Wealth Quickly!

by

kelly Price

It’s a fact that money builds money fast and if you don’t have much to start, it can be a slow process – but there is an easy way to get $100,000 quickly ( anyone can) and you can if you use this money wisely build wealth quickly, lets look at how to make money fast.

It’s a fact that if you put down $500.00 in an online currency trading account, brokers will give you 200:1 leverage, allowing you to trade $100,000. Before you say: I couldn’t be a currency trader! It’s to complicated or hard, let me tell you a quick story which will change your mind. Back in 1985, legendary trader Richard Dennis set out to prove that anyone could learn to trade, if they had the right mindset and the right education. He taught a group of people who had never traded before, a method and how to apply it in just 14 days. Dennis then set them up with trading accounts. The result? This group went onto make hundreds of millions of dollars and go down in trading history. Now I am not implying that you will make hundreds of millions of dollars – but there is a big difference between something being impossible and being achievable, and it’s a fact, trading success is open to all of us. How do you set out on becoming a successful trader? Let me ask you a question: Can you read a graph and can you spot repetitive chart patterns? Well if you can, you can look at a chart, learn these patterns and trade them for profit. You can get all the information to do this online and trade high odds set ups. If you trade them for profit and with leverage on your side, you can build wealth quickly and make money fast… All you need is the right education and a willingness to succeed. A word of caution – it’s easy to learn how to trade – but you must have the right mindset. It is mindset which separates winners from losers. You have to have the discipline to keep your loses small and take them and when dealing with leverage this is simply essential. There is nothing wrong with taking small losses but if you keep them small and run the big profitable trades, you can win longer term. Can you do it? The question is – do you want to make money fast and do you have a will to succeed? If you do then you can learn to trade currencies in just a few weeks, practice your art in a demo account and then trade with leverage on your side to build wealth quickly. It’s a learned skill and if you are up for a challenge then you can do it and get on the road to building a lucrative second income or even a life changing one. Currency trading is the world’s biggest business and with the rise of online trading its open to all people and you don’t need to be rich to get started. Are you ready for a challenge?
